There is a ban on cigar smoking in enclosed public places that has been voted in by the UK government. The details of this ban may affect where you can smoke, so you are adivsed to check with these venues before visiting.

Some of the hotels in London still accomodate cigar aficionados but few have a good selection of cigars. Unless you visit the luxury Hotels such as the Lanesborough, Grovener, Savoy, Ritz etc you are only likely to find machine made cigars or smaller sized tubed cigars.

You will find a worse situation in some of the bars around London who although they have small table top humidors, they also have some of the worst kept cigars and significantly mark up their prices. Again there are some notable exceptions such as the Balls Brothers chain and El Vino on Fleet Street.

The "CHE Bar" was one of my favourite places to spend an afternoon sipping G&Ts and smoking cigars but that has now sadly closed.

Boisdale Jazz and Cigar Club	15 Eccleston Street Belgravia	SW1W 9LX	7.00pm - 12.00am Monday to Saturday	A Scottish Restaurant and Bar with 3 interconnected dinning rooms. The liveliest adjoins the bar and has a small jazz quartet in the corner. The conservatory room is more calm and stylish and the front bar is cosy. Many old and rare cigars are offered. 17 brands and over 110 different sizes and vintages of Cuban cigars are available.
Boot and Flogger	10-20 Redcross Way London	SE1 1TA		Reviewed by John Kennet You could easily walk past The Boot & Flogger on Redcross Way, just down the road from Borough Market - the entrance way is most understated. It's a wine bar with a nice little selection of cigars (R&J, Cohiba, Monti) kept in good condition in a humidor behind the bar. Once you're inside, you find a wonderful little spot, with lots of Queen Anne chairs and a warm, classic character, exposed floorboards, and a friendly welcome. I enjoyed a very nice glass of house red, a cigar and a free newspaper last night, and could have stayed all night

Dugout Bar @ TomTom Mess Hall	14 Eccleston Street, Belgravia, London	SW1W 9LT	Till 9pm Mon, Tue, till 11pm Wed-Fri and till 5pm Saturday	A small but friendly garden/bar underneath the TomTom Mess Hall. A well stocked humidor with a range of cigars. Heating and shelter for inclement days.
Churchill Bar	30 Portman Square, London	W1	Late but non-residents have to pay a supplement to stay after 11pm	Attentive but not intrusive service, cosy atmosphere with large leather arm chairs. Many classic drinks and cocktails are available. The hotel is now a Hyatt, used to be the "Intercontinental". The hotel no longer has any smoking areas but does have cigars for sale at the bar and you can smoke in a selection of the bedrooms.
Floridita	100 Wardour Street London	W1F 0TN		The Floridita restaurant menu, is Conran's modern interpretation of cosmopolitan Cuban and Latin American cuisine. The restaurant has a range of tobacco infused cocktails.
Ten Manchester Street Hotel	Marylebone, London	W1U 4DG		Humidor & Cigar Terrace, all-weather outdoor terrace with heaters and screening. Note that Ten Manchester Street also have special offers and cigar talks.
Voltaire	19 New Bridge St, London	EC4V 6DB		Champagne Bar with cigar terrace. VIP stone vaults, ideal for small groups and private meetings. The bar also has cigar sampling evenings.
